The Death of Jack Lamp
Session 3


The PC’s refused to accept the sinister-looking Mr. Blade’s offer of cash in exchange for Jack and the dog, and leapt into combat. Mr. Blade and his two wolves were tough opponents, and the PC’s victory came with a price – the life of poor Jack Lamp.

After seeing to the remains of Jack (a fitting cremation), the PC’s returned to Rockhaven to recover before heading out to Elsinore for the tournament. That night a dream involving Pelor, and some very un-dog like activity (including creating a world in miniature) made the PC’s think there was much more to their new pet then it first appeared.

Finally, the PC’s departed for Elsinore – stopping along the way to save the travelling merchant Dando Goldblood and his adopted family from a pack of vicious gnolls. The PC’s teamed up with the merchant in exchange for a share of gold (following the sale of his wares), and together they entered the City of Peace – Elsinore.

The Crypts at Dawn's Rest
Session 2

Session Synopsis from June 11th:

You all hit level 2! Bring your current lvl 1 character along with your level 2 character for next session – 6/25/11.

The party has fought through the crypts beneath Pelor’s temple and foiled an evil attempt to desecrate it – and adopted a puppy too boot! Jack Lamp is convinced it is his god Pelor, to no one’s surprise, and has begun to worship it. On the road back to town, the group faces a mysterious man in black with a mean look about him and a proposition that is hard to refuse, “Hand Jack and the dog over to me, and I’ll give you 10,000 gold.”

Here are the awesome notes for the session of Saturday May, 28th!

500 XP per person! (Thanks half way to level 2 folks!)

407 gold plus 439 silver (350 gp from Jack Lamp, 57 gp and 439 sp from the Rough Rider’s wagon) That’s 81 gp and 96 sp per player – if you divide it fairly.

Defensive Staff +1 (Not a Staff of Divinity, like I said in the session. It turns out no one can actually use that so I’m changing my mind.) – Taken by Aerick
